About Starbucks

Starbucks Corporation is an American global coffee company with its main office in Seattle, Washington. Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker started the first coffeehouse in 1971. Since then, it has grown into the largest coffeehouse chain in the world, with restaurants and franchises all over the world. There are many things to buy at Starbucks, such as hot and cold drinks, ice cream, sweets, snacks, sandwiches, breakfast foods, drinks, smoothies, and the well-known Pumpkin Spice Latte.

It began in the United States as a Seattle Coffee bean roaster. However, the business has grown quickly and widely after putting in a lot of work and a lot of money into advertising. The company opened about two shops around the world every day from 1987 to 2007 when it was making money.

History Of Starbucks

The first Starbucks opened in 1971 in Washington, USA, with the help of three college students from San Francisco who became partners. Alfred Peet, a businessman who roasts coffee, inspired the kids and taught them everything. This is how they chose to start planning how to open their own coffee shop, and they did open their own coffee shop.

It was only roasted whole coffee beans that the company sold from 1971 to 1976. Over time, the company started selling green coffee beans that they had bought from Peet’s. Eventually, the owners of Starbucks stopped buying from a pet and started buying straight from it. From 1980 to 1990, Starbucks was on the stock market and went from being a private company to a public one. The company had its first public offering (IPO) in June 1992, after two years of steady growth.

In June 1992, Starbucks had 140 stores and made 73.5 million US dollars in sales, up from 1.3 million US dollars the previous year. In this case, the market value of the company was about $271 million USD. After four months, Starbucks’ stock price had gone up 70%, to more than 100 times its 2010 earnings per share.
