  • You must be able to speak and write English well. Being able to speak another language is a bonus.
  • You are at least 160 cm tall and can reach 212 cm while standing on your toes, so you can reach all types of emergency tools.
  • When you’re wearing the Emirates cabin crew outfit, you can’t have any tattoos that people can see (without covering them up with makeup or bandages.

Our Airbus 380 fleet’s accelerated command gives driven Captains the chance to fly a current wide-body plane all over the world.

Qualifications & Experience

You need to have the following skills to join our A380 Accelerated Command program:

  • Minimum of 6000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft)
  • At least 3,000 hours of experience as a pilot on a fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet with a maximum takeoff weight of more than 50 tons.
  • 1500 hours PIC must be Airbus FBW*

A job where cybersecurity fans can start their careers by keeping an eye on and analyzing security events and helping to coordinate the work that needs to be done to fix them.

It’s your job to keep an eye on, analyze, and fix cybersecurity problems. As the first line of defense, you will handle events and service requests and make sure that more complicated problems are quickly sorted and sent to the right people. In a 24×7 business, the job is on-site and based on rotating shifts.

What you will do: 

  • Respond to service requests and events that come in. Assist in finding, stopping, identifying, and reporting possible cybersecurity events, such as attacks, intrusions, strange activities, and misuse initiatives.
  • Help make connections between security events and incidents using data taken from different parts of the company.
  • Work together with Level 2 experts on problems that need more attention and more research. Write down and report incidents, along with their history, current state, and possible effects, to higher levels for help and to see if a more in-depth investigation is needed.
  • Write down service requests and events. Follow the steps in the incident management process for all documented incidents. Help keep track of and record cyber events from the time they are first noticed until they are fully resolved.
  • Help with the daily shift handoff and simple KPI reporting.
  • Certain skills and information are needed to be an operational engineer at the level 1 CSOC level.

These are the most important skills you need to do well in this job:

  • It is very important to have a solid understanding of safety principles, ideas, and best practices. This means knowing about common ways to attack, types of malware, and security routines.
  • Being able to use SIEM tools well is necessary for keeping an eye on and analyzing security events. This means being able to connect and make sense of log data from different sources to find possible security problems.
  • Knowing how to handle a situation is very important. This includes being able to quickly and effectively handle security events, reduce threats, and write down the whole process of handling incidents.
  • A CSOC Level 1 analyst must be able to understand network protocols, analyze traffic, and spot behaviors on a network that seems odd or harmful. This means keeping an eye on network data and finding strange things.
  • It’s important to have good communication skills if you want to work with others on a team, share your thoughts on security events, and give stakeholders clear reports. This includes both talking and writing.

If you don’t have a degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, telecommunications, or a related scientific or technical field, you can use the following four years of work instead.

  • – Have worked in a large-scale IT setting for at least two years, focusing on information security.
  • – You should have worked in a CyberSecurity Operations Center (CSOC) or a Network Operations Center (NOC) before.
  • – You should have worked with Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) tools in a CSOC before.
